Swell Sofa is named after “Kaiyuan Tongbao”, a round-shaped currency used in ancient Tang Dynasty. It is named so not only for its full and swell design which resembles Yuanbao (shoe-shaped gold ingot), a typical image of China, but also for the fine wishes of good luck and development the image carries. We hope this design function as a real Yuanbao, bringing comfort as well as good luck to your home. Swell Sofa fits a variety of scenes, added by its round shape which is in harmony and coordination with the lines of the whole environment.
The versatility of Sistema Legs and its different finishes ensure extreme comfort. Two upholstery options are available: Smooth or Soft. Soft adds extra wellbeing to both the seat and backrest. A sofa with unlimited modularity, made for collaborative spaces, welcoming and lounging areas, among others.

Lievore Altherr Molina is a product design consulting and art direction, international studio.
Was created in 1991 by the merging of its three partners: Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina. Since its founding, the studio has been devoted to product design, consulting and the art direction of various companies, always offering individualised solutions.
